About the role
The Field Operator (Trades Assistant Facilities)



plays a hands-on role in maintaining and improving Council's diverse range of buildings and community facilities.
Working as part of the Facilities team, theposition undertakes a variety of general building maintenance and minor constructionactivities,includingpainting, carpentry assistance, basic plumbing maintenance, repairs and other practicalworks.
This is a varied role working across Council facilities throughout the Clarence Valley and is ideally suitedto someone who enjoys practical work, working as part of a team and taking pride in delivering qualityoutcomes for the community.
If you have experience in building maintenance, minor carpentry, painting, construction or a similarhands-on role, and hold a MR licence and White Card, we encourage you to review thePositionDescriptionand submit an application addressing the selection criteria and uploading requiredsupporting documents.

This position is located at Council's Rushforth Road Works Depot however, this may change shouldbusiness needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in thefuture.
