Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Concreter / Plant Operator to join our team in a residential Orange-based position.
This is a great opportunity to work close to home, be part of a well-respected local contractor, and contribute to significant civil and infrastructure projects throughout the region.
About the role
As a Concreter / Plant Operator, you will be involved in a variety of civil construction activities including concrete placement and finishing, formwork preparation and setup, kerb, gutter, footpath and drainage construction, operating civil construction plant and equipment, excavation and earthworks support, site preparation and clean-up, daily pre-starts and equipment inspections, maintaining a safe and productive work environment, and working collaboratively with supervisors and project teams.
Key responsibilities
Concrete placement and finishing
Formwork preparation and setup
Kerb, gutter, footpath and drainage construction
Operating civil construction plant and equipment
Excavation and earthworks support
Site preparation and clean-up
Daily pre-starts and equipment inspections




Maintaining a safe and productive work environment
Working collaboratively with supervisors and project teams
About you
Experience in civil concrete construction
Experience operating civil plant and machinery
Construction Induction Card (White Card)
Current Driver's Licence
Solid commitment to workplace health and safety
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Desirable: HR Licence
Desirable: Excavator, roller, skid steer or loader experience
Desirable: Traffic Management tickets, Civil construction experience on road, subdivision or infrastructure projects, Plant operation competency tickets
