We're looking for aRecruitment Coordinatorwho loves people, enjoys making things happen and wants to build a career inRecruitment, Talent Acquisition or HR.
This is more than a recruitment administration role.
You'll work alongside experienced Talent professionals, hiring managers and leaders across AWCON, gaining genuine exposure to thepeople, projects and workforce behind a rapidly scaling construction business.
THE OPPORTUNITY
You'll support recruitment across ourcorporate, project and operational teams, with exposure to the full recruitment lifecycle including:
Supporting role briefs and recruitment requirements
Advertising roles across SEEK, LinkedIn and other platforms
Sourcing candidates and building talent pipelines
Screening applications and conducting initial phone interviews
Coordinating interviews and candidate communications
Supporting offers, pre-employment and onboarding
Maintaining recruitment data and reporting
Supporting employer branding, talent projects and process improvement
And as you grow, so will your responsibilities.

We're looking for someone who iscurious, proactive and entrepreneurial— someone who sees an prospect to improve something and wants to help build it.
ABOUT YOU
You might be an early-career recruiter, agency recruiter looking to move in-house, HR/People Coordinator, administrator or someone from a customer-facing role looking to turn your natural people skills into a career.
You'll bring:

Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Great organisation and attention to detail
Confidence picking up the phone and talking to people
Curiosity and a genuine willingness to learn
The ability to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ambition to build a long-term career in Talent or HR
We can teach you recruitment.
What we can't teach is curiosity, initiative, energy and a genuine interest in people.
Experience inconstruction, mining, engineering or infrastructure recruitmentis highly regarded, but not essential.
