The role
n
The Coordinator oversees key operational functions including animal management services, school crossing supervision, planning enforcement and local law activities.
n
n
Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive culture, collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
n
Provide expert advice and high-quality reports on compliance, legislative changes, service performance, risks and emerging community issues.
n
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and local laws through effective education, investigation, enforcement and operational oversight.
n
Manage community safety initiatives and projects that improve community awareness, address compliance issues and support positive community outcomes.
n

To be successful in this role you will have:
n
n
Qualifications in a related discipline, and/or extensive experience within a compliance or regulatory environment.
n
Demonstrated leadership experience in a compliance, regulatory, enforcement or local government environment.
n
Strong knowledge of local government legislation, regulatory frameworks,



compliance processes and enforcement practices.
n
Proven experience leading and developing teams, including development, mentoring and workforce planning.
n
Well-developed investigative skills, including evidence gathering, report writing and managing complex compliance matters.
n
