The Opportunity
This is a dual role combining chair-side dental assisting with front-of-house administration. We are seeking a candidate looking for a long-term position. The role is initially offered on a
casual part-time basis
, with a genuine prospect to transition into a
full-time position
as our patient base continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Assisting:
Provide efficient chair-side assistance to our dentists, anticipating procedural needs to ensure smooth patient flow.
Infection Control:
Maintain strict sterilisation and infection control protocols in compliance with current dental standards.
Reception & Administration:




Act as the primary point of contact for patients, managing phone enquiries, coordinating appointments, and processing billing.
Practice Maintenance:
Contribute to the daily organisation, cleanliness, and administrative upkeep of the clinic.
Selection Criteria
Experience:
A minimum of 1-2 years of experience across both dental assisting and reception is highly preferred.
Communication:
Strong verbal communication skills with a clear, professional, and empathetic phone manner.
Technical Literacy:
Prior experience with
Dental 4 Windows (D4W)
is advantageous, though thorough training will be provided to the right candidate.
Aptitude:
A punctual professional with strong attention to detail, a solid work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a busy clinical environment.
