We have a new role for commercially minded analyst who enjoys turning data into meaningful insights and helping leaders make informed decisions.
This is a maternity leave cover for a 12-month period within our Commercial & Analytics team and will partner closely with Corporate Services leaders to provide financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting support, while identifying opportunities for greater efficiency, improved performance and stronger commercial outcomes.

What you will do
This role is reporting to the
Manager Commercial & Reporting
to provide meaningful analysis and commercial support. Key to this role will be:
Budgeting, forecasting and month-end performance analysis.
Delivering financial and commercial insights for leaders.
Investigating business trends, opportunities and performance drivers.
Identifying cost-saving and efficiency opportunities across the organisation.
Analysing financial and operational data to support decision-making.
Developing business cases, modelling and commercial recommendations.
Working with existing reporting and data sources to surface actionable insights.




Supporting process improvement initiatives and documentation.
Translating complex data into practical recommendations for leaders.
Contributing to Board, management and operational reporting activities
About You
You are known as a commercially minded and analytical professional, genuinely interested in understanding what drives business performance.
You enjoy working with stakeholders, exploring data, challenging assumptions and uncovering insights that create value.
You will bring to the team:
Experience in financial analysis, commercial analysis or business partnering.
Recent budgeting and forecasting experience.
Confident stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Experience interpreting data and making practical recommendations.
Advanced Excel skills, including working with large datasets, data cubes and pivot tables.
Proven problem-solving and analytical thinking capability.
A continuous improvement mindset and interest in identifying efficiencies.
The ability to communicate insights to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Standout experiences would be:
Experience as a Commercial Analyst, Financial Analyst,



Finance Business Partner or Management Accountant.
Experience supporting operational leaders through financial insights and decision support.
Exposure to medium or large multi-site organisations.
Power BI experience, however, report development is not a primary responsibility of this role.
