We are looking for a skilled and reliable Automotive Mechanic to join our team at Opposite Lock Cardiff in Cardiff, NSW.

As a full-time Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles, with a strong focus on 4WDs and light commercial vehicles. You will also have the opportunity to work on vehicle upgrades, suspension and 4x4 modifications.

About the role

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Automotive Mechanic to join our team at Opposite Lock Cardiff in Cardiff, NSW.

As a full-time Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles, with a strong focus on 4WDs and light commercial vehicles. You will also have the opportunity to work on vehicle upgrades, suspension and 4x4 modifications.

What you'll be doing
n
n
Carry out general mechanical servicing, maintenance and repairs
n
Diagnose mechanical faults and complete repairs efficiently
n
Perform brake, suspension, steering and driveline repairs
n
Carry out suspension upgrades and other 4WD modifications
n
Conduct vehicle inspections and identify required repairs
n
Work on a wide range of 4WDs, utes and light commercial vehicles
n
Ensure all work is completed to a high qualified standard
n
Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop
n
Follow all workplace health and safety requirements
n

What we're looking for
n
n
Qualified Automotive Mechanic / Light Vehicle Mechanic
n
Relevant Australian trade qualification or equivalent
n
Strong mechanical diagnostic and problem-solving skills
n
Experience working on 4WDs and diesel vehicles is highly regarded
n
Suspension and 4WD modification experience is an advantage
n
Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop
n
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
n
Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
n
Valid driver's licence
n
