Job Description
The Jewish Community Council of Victoria (JCCV) is looking for a current Public Affairs Manager to help lead our advocacy, government relations and media strategy at a pivotal moment for our community.

This is a newly created role, working closely with our CEO to strengthen the JCCV's voice with government, media and local councils — including our advocacy on the Royal Commission into Antisemitism and Social Cohesion.

What you'll do:

Lead policy submissions, briefings and advocacy campaigns
n
Manage media relations and strategic communications
n
Build relationships across government, media and community stakeholders
n
Monitor legislative and policy developments affecting Victorian Jewish community
n
n
What we're looking for:
n
n
Experience in public affairs, government relations or media
n
Strong understanding of Victorian political and policy processes
n
Excellent writing and stakeholder engagement skills
n
Sound judgement and the ability to work across the political spectrum
n
n
Melbourne | 0.8 FTE (32 hrs/week) | Reports to CEO
