Undergraduate Student in Nursing (Targeted role: Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people)
As a First Nations Undergraduate Student in Nursing (USiN) at PAH, you will build your nursing future while you study. With opportunities across a wide range of clinical areas, you will develop your clinical skills, confidence and understanding of professional nursing practice while working alongside experienced nurses and multidisciplinary teams.
This role is being filled using a targeted recruitment process. It is open only to people who identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.
Candidates must include a statement in their application if they identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person. Only candidates who meet this requirement will be considered

Multiple temporary part-time opportunities exist across various areas of Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH), with intakes commencing in
January and February ****.
To be eligible, you must be undertaking at least the second semester of your second year of an approved pre-registration nursing program and have
at least
12 months of study remaining.
Available to fulfil all 3 shift types (Early, Late and Night Duty) across 7 days of the week
Available to work a minimum of 1 to 4 shifts per fortnight (Outside of Clinical Placement)
Identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person

The Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is a tertiary health care centre providing care in most major adult specialties.
We provide world class health care to Brisbane City's southern suburbs across emergency, medical, mental health and surgical services, including liver and kidney transplant.
We are nationally recognised for our expertise in trauma management and organ transplants and are one of Australia's leading academic and research health centres. The PAH as a major medical research precinct hosts Australia's most advanced medical research facility, the Translational Research Institute (TRI) as well as a current Clinical Research Facility for the discoveries made at TRI to be trialed in a safe clinical environment.
We're expanding our hospital to make sure everyone gets the care they need. We're adding more beds, modernising our buildings, and improving our spaces to treat kidney and cancer patients with all new services and facilities planned to open by ****.
