Job Description
As a Concrete Tester at Global Concrete Testing, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of construction projects across Melbourne. Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, this full-time position will see you conducting a range of concrete testing and analysis in our state‐of‐the‐art laboratory. With a focus on delivering accurate and timely results, you will be an integral part of the team supporting the construction industry.

What you'll be doing
n
Performing onsite physical testing of concrete in accordance with Australian Standards **** and VicRoads Testing Standards
n
Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all testing activities
n
Completing accurate field test records and submitting reports to clients within required timeframes
n
Ensuring timely delivery of samples to laboratories in line with NATA‐specified requirements
n
Participating in the ongoing development and improvement of testing methods and procedures
n
Providing support to clients as required
n
Assisting with the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment
n
Collaborating with colleagues to ensure an efficient and effective laboratory operation
n
What we're looking for
n
Minimum 2 years' experience in a concrete testing role
n
Comprehensive understanding of concrete testing standards and procedures
n




A current manual driver's licence, Construction White Card, and valid Australian working rights (mandatory)
n
Competent computer skills for data entry and report preparation
n
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with numerical data
n
Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and colleagues
n
Cooperative team player with a proactive and solutions‐focused approach
n
Ability to perform moderate lifting duties as required for field testing activities
n
