The role forms part of our day shift, afternoon shift and night shift.

In this role you will be responsible for a range of tasks including:
n
n
Performing tests and inspections on power transformers to ensure their reliability, efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
n




Test failure investigation and reporting
n
Ensuring the method or procedure used for testing is verified (for standard method) or validated
n
Pre-Commissioning Tests - Turns Ratio Test, Winding Resistance Test, HV Test, Core Grounding & Magnetization Testing
n
Performance Validation - LTC, Protection & Control testing, Power Factor Testing
n
Reporting & Documentation
n
Ensuring compliance with quality standards is maintained
n
Collaborate and communicate with engineering teams
n
n
You will need proven experience in the following:
n
n
Experience testing transformers with a power rating from 5MVA to 400MVA, and voltage class up to 330KV.
n
Safety Awareness.
n
Suitable qualifications in electrical engineering with demonstrated experience accordingly.
