The Opportunity
n
This role is ideal for a technically strong financial planner who enjoys working closely with advisers, researching complex strategies and preparing high-quality financial advice. You will be responsible for developing Statements of Advice, undertaking investment and strategy research, supporting implementation, and providing ongoing technical analysis across a broad range of client needs.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Prepare accurate, explicit and technically robust Statements of Advice and supporting documentation.
n
Research investments across listed and unlisted markets and provide strategic insights to advisers.
n
Provide technical support across superannuation, taxation, social security, insurance and estate planning.
n
Stay current with financial planning legislation, regulatory requirements and emerging strategies.
n
Assist with the implementation of client strategies, including superannuation, insurance and social security matters.
n
Support Adviser Assistants with implementation and technical queries.
n
Maintain strong relationships with product providers and BDMs across approved products.
n
Ensure all advice and correspondence meet internal and regulatory compliance requirements.
n




Contribute technical knowledge and insights to the broader Wealth Management team.
n
Complete required professional development and regulatory training.
n
Represent the brand through their corporate values.
n

You will have:
n
n
Relevant tertiary qualifications and meet applicable ASIC Financial Adviser Standards, including completion of the Financial Adviser Exam and eligibility for registration on the Financial Adviser Register.
n
Completion of, or eligibility to complete, the Professional Year where applicable.
n
Approved Tax (Financial) Adviser education where providing tax (financial) advice services.
n
RG146 compliance across Managed Investments, Securities, Superannuation and Insurance, at minimum.
n
Advanced Xplan knowledge and experience.
n
Strong technical, analytical, mathematical and written communication skills.
n
Demonstrated experience preparing high-quality financial advice documentation.
n
A strong understanding of financial planning strategies, legislation and compliance.
n
Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
n
A collaborative, client-focused approach and the initiative to work independently.
