We're looking for a Packing Team Leader to lead our packing team and help keep our daily production running smoothly. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in quality and knows how to keep things moving in a fast-paced production environment.
The Role
You'll lead the packing team during your shift, ensuring products are packed accurately, safely and on time while maintaining Sonoma's quality and food safety standards.
Lead, supervise and support the packing team throughout the shift
Allocate tasks and ensure adequate staffing across packing lines
Conduct daily toolbox talks and support team training
Monitor packing schedules, productivity and line performance
Ensure products are packed and labelled correctly
Monitor stock scanning accuracy and packing materials
Maintain product quality,



temperature and cold chain requirements
Identify and resolve operational issues, downtime and packing errors
Maintain clean and organised packing areas
Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, food safety and WHS requirements
Complete quality checks, records and end-of-shift reporting
What You'll Bring
Previous experience in a food production, packing or manufacturing setting
Experience leading or supervising a team
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
A hands-on approach and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Understanding of food safety, HACCP and WHS requirements
