Dental Assistant / Dental Receptionist

The role
You'll be the first point of contact for our patients and help keep the day running smoothly.
Key duties include:
Greeting patients and delivering exceptional customer service
Answering phones, emails and booking appointments
Managing the appointment book (confirmations, recalls, reschedules)
Processing payments, health fund claims and invoices
Assisting with patient enquiries and treatment estimates
Maintaining accurate patient records and confidentiality




General admin support and keeping reception areas tidy and welcoming
Secondary duties (Dental Assisting)
On some days, you may also assist the clinical team.
This may include:
Chairside assisting (four-handed dentistry)
Instrument processing and sterilisation
Preparing/cleaning surgeries between patients
Stock setup and restocking consumables
Following infection control and clinical protocols
What we're looking for
Friendly, calm and professional communication (in person + phone)
Strong organisation and attention to detail
Comfortable with computers and learning practice software
Team player with a "jump in and help" mindset
Reliable, punctual, and able to handle a busy schedule
Previous dental reception/assistant experience is a plus, but not required
