About the role

Join a growing specialist subcontractor delivering high-quality cladding, façade and metalwork packages across major commercial construction projects in Canberra and the surrounding region.

With a strong reputation in the market and a solid pipeline of secured work, this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Project Engineer to play a key role in the successful delivery of complex façade projects.

Working closely with Project Managers, site teams, builders, consultants, and subcontractors, you’ll be involved across the full project lifecycle — from procurement and coordination through to installation and project completion.

The Role

As a Project Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating the delivery of cladding and façade packages across multiple projects
Managing subcontractors, suppliers, and procurement activities
Assisting with project planning, programming, and reporting
Monitoring project costs, variations, and forecasting
Coordinating shop drawings, RFIs, and technical documentation
Liaising with builders, consultants, architects, and site teams
Supporting quality assurance and compliance processes




Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline
Previous experience as a Project Engineer within commercial construction or specialist subcontracting
Exposure to cladding, façades, curtain wall, aluminium, or building envelope projects is highly regarded
Robust understanding of construction sequencing and project delivery
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Robust organisational and problem-solving abilities
