Broken Hill Base Hospital & Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse with Operating Theatre experience to join their team on a three-month contract, starting as soon as possible. Based in Broken Hill, NSW, this role offers the prospect to work in a dynamic surgical environment where your clinical skills and theatre expertise will be valued. The position is remunerated at AUD53.93 to AUD78.50 per hour, depending on experience and classification.

Preferred Requirements

Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
n
Demonstrated experience working in an operating theatre setting
n
Pre-admission clinic experience or knowledge of pre-operative assessment processes
n
Solid understanding of theatre protocols, infection control, and surgical safety standards
n
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team
n

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification with current AHPRA registration
n
Post-graduate qualification or certification in perioperative nursing
n
Current First Aid and CPR certification
