Accountant (General) – Full time We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant (General) to join our growing professional services organisation. Employment Type: Full-Time Hours: 38 hours per week Salary: $85,000 per annum + superannuation Location: Sydney, NSW

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and analyse financial statements, management accounts and financial reports.
Prepare budgets, forecasts and cash-flow reports.
Maintain and review accounting records and general ledger accounts.
Prepare and review BAS, GST and other taxation-related information.
Assist with preparation of income tax returns and statutory reporting requirements.
Analyse business operating costs, income and expenditure.
Provide financial and accounting advice to management.
Monitor internal accounting procedures and financial controls.




Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
Liaise with management, clients and external specialists regarding accounting and financial matters.
Ensure financial records comply with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Assist management with financial planning and business performance analysis.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Accounting, Finance or a closely related discipline.
Relevant professional accounting experience.
Robust knowledge of Australian accounting principles and financial reporting.
Experience using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
