Dave's Welding & Metal Fabrication Pty Ltdis looking for an experienced and highly motivatedWelder / Metal Fabricatorto join our growing team on a full-time basis.
We specialise in high-quality custom architectural metalwork for residential and commercial projects across Sydney, working with stainless steel, aluminium, brass and mild steel.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be involved in the fabrication of a wide range of custom architectural metalwork, where accuracy, quality and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Fabrication of custom architectural metalwork
High proficiency in TIG welding aluminium and stainless steel is essential
Experience with metal preparation and processing
Cutting, shaping, bending, drilling, joining, welding and grinding
Confident use of hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery
Reading and interpreting fabrication and shop drawings
Accurately and safely completing assigned fabrication tasks
Fabricating components within±2 mm tolerance
Performing quality checks on completed products
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment




CNC machine operation experience is an advantage butnot essential
What We're Looking For
Minimum4 years of relevant fabrication experience
Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Tradeor equivalent
Strong TIG welding skills, particularly with stainless steel and aluminium
Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Solid problem-solving and fabrication skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Reliable and punctual
Australian permanent residency or citizenship
