Job Description
AnestablishedequipmentservicesoperationinWesternAustraliaislookingforaskilledCrusherFitter/Boilermakerwithgenuinehands-onexperienceacrosscrushing,quarryandminingequipment.
Thisopportunityisfocusedonprofessionalswhocandemonstratetheirtradebackground,understandcomplexmechanicalandhydraulicsystems,andconfidentlydiagnoseequipmentissuesinrealworkingenvironments.Therolecombinesworkshop,metropolitan,regionalandremotesitework,allowingyoutoputyourtechnicalknowledgeintopracticeacrossavarietyofequipmentandcustomerenvironments.
The Chance
AnestablishedequipmentservicesoperationinWesternAustraliaislookingforaskilledCrusherFitter/Boilermakerwithgenuinehands-onexperienceacrosscrushing,quarryandminingequipment.
Thisopportunityisfocusedonprofessionalswhocandemonstratetheirtradebackground,understandcomplexmechanicalandhydraulicsystems,andconfidentlydiagnoseequipmentissuesinrealworkingenvironments.Therolecombinesworkshop,metropolitan,regionalandremotesitework,allowingyoutoputyourtechnicalknowledgeintopracticeacrossavarietyofequipmentandcustomerenvironments.
Key Responsibilities
Carryoutmaintenance,servicing,repairsandtroubleshootingonmobileandstationaryequipment
Inspectequipmentandidentifymechanicalfaultsandmaintenancerequirements
Diagnosemechanicalandhydraulicproblemsusingtechnicaldocumentation,manualsandOEMprocedures
Readandinterprethydraulicschematicsandcarryoutpressureandflowtesting
Diagnosefaultswithin12Vand24Velectricalcontrolsystems
Readelectricalschematicsandperformvoltageandcontinuitytesting
Completepre-deliveryinspectionsandequipmentpreparation
UndertakerepairsinaccordancewithmanufacturerandOEMstandards




Provideon-sitetechnicalsupporttocustomersacrossmetropolitan,regionalandremotelocations
Traveltocustomersitesasrequiredtocompletemaintenanceandrepairwork
Assessequipmentconditionandpreparedetailedtechnicalreports
Recordcompletedworks,inspections,settings,checksandadjustmentsaccurately
Maintainphotographicandtechnicalevidenceofworkperformed
Communicateprofessionallywithcustomersandprovidepracticaltechnicalsolutions
Followworkplacesafetyrequirementsandestablishedmaintenanceprocedures
Requirements & Eligibility
RelevanttradequalificationinFitting,Boilermakingorarelatedmechanicaltrade
Minimum2yearsofpost-trainingindustryexperience
Demonstratedexperienceinquarryorminingfixedplantenvironments
Hands-onexperiencewithcrushingandprocessingequipment
Abilitytodemonstrategenuineandverifiabletradeexperience
Strongunderstandingofmechanicalandhydraulicmaintenance
Abilitytoreadandinterprethydraulicandelectricalschematics
Abilitytodiagnosefaultsusingtechnicalinformationandtestingequipment
Goodunderstandingofmaintenanceproceduresacrossdifferentoperatingenvironments
FullunrestrictedCClassDriver'sLicence
HRandForkliftLicencesaredesirable
Physicallycapableofperformingmanualandsite-basedwork
