Job Description

Our client, a leading commercial laundry provider, is seeking reliable, physically fit and detail-oriented Laundry Production Assistants to join their team in Footscray.

This is a hands-on production role involving the movement and organisation of commercial laundry throughout the factory. You will be required to move laundry racks between different sections, lift items up to 25kg, and carefully inspect garments for rips, damage or required amendments.

Duties include:

n

Moving laundry racks between different sections of the factory

n

Lifting and handling laundry items up to 25kg

n

Sorting and organising garments throughout the production process

n

Inspecting garments for rips, damage and required amendments

n

Reporting any issues accurately to the relevant team

n

Ensuring laundry is organised and moved to the correct production area





n

Maintaining a safe, clean and effective work setting

n

To be successful, you will have:

n

Previous experience in laundry, production, warehouse, manufacturing or labouring environments

n

Good physical fitness and the ability to lift up to 25kg

n

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

n

Valuable written and verbal communication skills

n

A reliable attitude and strong work ethic

n

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

n

What's on offer:

n

$32–$33 per hour

n

Monday to Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm

n
