Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end payroll for ~350 weekly employees
Lead, mentor, and support 2 in the payroll team
Lead two critical initiatives - Pay Day Super implementation and T&A; (Time & Attendance) system integration
Ensure accurate processing of wages, PAYG,



tax, and superannuation
Interpret awards, overtime rules, and allowances, including manual calculations where required
Drive process improvements and efficiencies across payroll operations

Key Requirements
Proven end-to-end payroll experience, ideally in a high-volume weekly payroll environment
Experience with MicrOpay essential
Solid understanding of awards, overtime, and allowances
Prior leadership experience preferred, or demonstrated ability to step up into a leadership role
Strong interest in process improvement and system enhancement
Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Hands-on approach with willingness to support all aspects of payroll
