Junior Foreman

The Role
n
Hoz Construction is looking for an experienced Junior Foreman to join our team delivering premium residential and multi-residential projects across Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.
n
Working directly under the Site Manager, you will take responsibility for areas of the project and help drive day-to-day site delivery.
n
You must be confident with set-out, levels, trade coordination and sequencing, and capable of managing subcontractors and progressing works without constant direction.
n
This is a hands-on site management role with genuine responsibility.

What You'll Do
n
n
Support the Site Manager with day-to-day project delivery
n
Independently carry out set-out and levels
n
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors
n
Manage trade sequencing and daily site activities
n
Take ownership of designated areas and stages of the build
n
Read and interpret architectural, structural and services drawings
n
Identify and resolve coordination issues on site
n
Drive subcontractors and maintain programme momentum
n
Monitor workmanship and quality
n
Manage site logistics, deliveries and access
n
Assist with WHS and site compliance
n




Be hands-on when required
n
n
About You
n
n
5+ years' construction experience, ideally across high-end residential or multi-residential projects
n
Strong carpentry or construction background preferred
n
Confident and experienced with set-out and levels
n
Able to read and work confidently from construction drawings
n
Experience coordinating and supervising multiple trades
n
Comfortable giving direction and holding subcontractors accountable
n
Strong understanding of construction sequencing
n
Organised, proactive and able to work independently
n
High attention to detail and quality
n
Ambition to progress into a Site Manager role
n
n
You don't need to already be a Site Manager, but you need to be capable of taking genuine responsibility on site from day one.

The Opportunity
n
This is a genuine Junior Foreman position with a transparent pathway to Site Manager.
n
You'll work closely with an experienced Site Manager while taking responsibility for your own areas of the project. As your capability grows, so will your responsibility.
