What you'll be doing
n As a Registered Nurse in the Endoscopy Unit, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. You will play a vital role in supporting positive patient outcomes while working closely with multidisciplinary teams in a busy and rewarding clinical environment.

Deliver safe,
efficient and evidence-based patient care that meets individual needs
n
Assess, monitor and respond effectively to changing patient conditions throughout the care journey
n
Collaborate with patients, families, carers and healthcare professionals to plan and coordinate care
n
Provide clinical guidance, mentoring and supervision to nursing staff and students as required
n
Advocate for patients, manage resources effectively and maintain clear, accurate clinical documentation
n
This role requires the capability to perform duties involving lead apron use in accordance with the NSW Nurses and Midwives Award.

Registration: Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
n
Selection Criteria
n
Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
n
Significant post graduate experience in an acute hospital. Recent experience in Endoscopy or Perioperative Services (Scrub, Scout, Anaesthetics, PACU & DPU) nursing preferable.
n
Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
n
Demonstrated effective communication skills- written and verbal
n
Effective interpersonal skills showing initiative and leadership to junior members of the team
n
Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills, and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues
n
Experience with Provation or SurgiNet IT applications preferable
n
