We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team and take responsibility for the successful delivery of a substantial Class 2 residential project in Sydney.
This is an opportunity for an experienced construction professional who has a strong track record delivering medium to large-scale Class 2 residential projects and is looking for their next long-term opportunity.
About the Role
As Site Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to a high standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing all day-to-day site activities and construction operations
Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel
Managing programme, sequencing and site logistics
Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with plans, specifications and relevant standards
Maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety and compliance
Conducting site meetings and coordinating trades
Monitoring project progress and reporting to the Project Manager
Managing site documentation, inspections and QA processes
Identifying and resolving construction issues as they arise
Maintaining strong relationships with consultants,



subcontractors and stakeholders
Ensuring the project remains on programme and within agreed project requirements
About You
We are looking for a Site Manager with:
Minimum 5 years' construction experience in Australia
Proven experience working on decent-sized projects, ideally with project values of $30M+
A solid understanding of Australian construction practices, standards and regulations
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades
Strong programming, coordination and organisational skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
A hands-on approach with the ability to take ownership of a site
Strong commitment to safety, quality and programme delivery
