Build irrigation on some of Victoria's most iconic grounds

Right now our crews are working at Royal Melbourne Golf Club and Moonee Valley Racecourse, and we've already secured projects well into **** and ****. If you want to work on some of the best sporting grounds in the country, with the security of a full pipeline of work, we'd like to hear from you.

$30–$45/hr depending on your skills and experience
n
Company ute, fuel card, tools and PPE provided
n
38-hour week with RDOs, plus overtime available
n
Permanent full-time, paid fortnightly

About us
n
Think Water Melbourne (Planned Irrigation Projects Pty Ltd) has been Victoria's leading commercial irrigation contractor since ****. We design and install irrigation for golf courses, sports grounds, racetracks, wineries, parks and public spaces.
n
The work
n
You'll join a crew of skilled installers, backed by our design and project management team, and report to the Project Manager. Most of our work is across Melbourne, with the occasional regional and interstate project.
n
You'll work as part of a small-team delivering projects, like a golf course, from start to finish. No two projects are the same and your next might be with a different team building a park in the Brighton or a winery in the Yarra Valley. Along the way you'll work with big pipe, pumps, bores, recycled water and control systems.

What you'll be doing

Installing PVC and poly pipework *******mm+)



and fittings
n
Installing and testing decoders, wiring and central control systems
n
Installing and adjusting sprinklers, valves, pumps and filters
n
Trenching and working with and around machinery
n
Troubleshooting and fault-finding irrigation systems
n
Leading a crew or working as part of one
n

We'll support you toward your irrigation license

Ideally you'll have 2+ years of irrigation experience, but if you've got the right attitude and some irrigation background from landscaping, apply anyway.

An irrigation or plumbing rego and excavator ticket are a bonus, not a must. We can help you get both.
