An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced
Facilities Officer
to join a highly regarded, purpose-driven organisation managing a growing portfolio of medium and high-density residential assets.
Working closely with the Asset Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day operation, maintenance and compliance of essential building services, ensuring properties remain safe, compliant, functional and well maintained.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with facilities, building services or residential asset management experience who enjoys a wide-ranging role, contractor management and working across multiple sites.
The Role
Manage essential building services including
fire systems, lifts, HVAC, security and shared infrastructure
Coordinate planned preventative maintenance programs and service contracts
Manage contractors and external service providers, ensuring quality, safety and value for money
Conduct regular site inspections across the residential portfolio
Coordinate defect rectification and warranty works across newer properties
Assist with procurement and tender processes for facilities contracts
Maintain facilities records, compliance documentation and contractor reporting
Monitor building compliance, WHS and essential service requirements
Identify operational risks and recommend improvements or future capital works
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, residents, contractors and suppliers
About You
We are looking for a proactive,



organised and solutions-focused facilities professional who is comfortable managing multiple priorities.
3-5 years' experience
within Facilities Management, Building Services, Property or Housing Asset Management
Strong knowledge of building compliance, WHS and essential services
Experience across fire systems, HVAC, lifts, security or similar building infrastructure
Proven experience managing contractors and service providers
Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
Confidence using Microsoft Office and property or facilities management systems
Current Queensland C Class Driver Licence
Experience within multi-unit residential, community housing, social housing, strata or residential property portfolios
Experience within multi-unit residential, community housing, social housing, strata or residential property portfolios will be highly regarded.
Qualifications in Facilities Management, Building Services, Property or a related discipline would also be advantageous.
