About the Role
A Life Plus is looking for a commercially focused, data-driven
In-House Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
to lead our marketing function and drive profitable growth across customer acquisition, retention, eCommerce and brand.
This is a
full-time, hands-on leadership role
. You will work closely with our leadership and internal teams and will be required to work from our
Botany office for part of each week
.
You will not only set marketing strategy, but also actively review performance, analyse data, direct campaigns and drive execution across
Meta, Google, Shopify, CRO, email/SMS and retention
.
Key Responsibilities
Own the overall marketing strategy and growth plan.
Lead customer acquisition across Meta, Google and other paid channels.
Monitor and improve CAC, ROAS, conversion rate and first-order value.
Drive Shopify and eCommerce growth initiatives.
Lead CRO, landing page, funnel and offer testing.
Develop strategies to improve customer lifetime value, retention and repeat purchases.
Oversee email, SMS, subscription, loyalty, upsell and cross-sell initiatives.
Lead creative and campaign testing across acquisition channels.
Manage internal marketing team members, agencies, freelancers and specialist operators.
Analyse Shopify, Meta, Google and CRM data to identify opportunities and performance gaps.
Build clear dashboards and reporting for key marketing KPIs.
Establish structured testing frameworks and scale winning campaigns quickly.




Work closely with operations, finance, customer service and product teams.
Ensure marketing spend is allocated based on performance and profitability.
What We're Looking For
Proven senior marketing leadership experience in eCommerce or direct-to-consumer businesses.
Strong hands-on digital and performance marketing experience.
Demonstrated success scaling Meta and Google paid acquisition.
Strong understanding of Shopify, marketing attribution and eCommerce analytics.
Experience managing CAC, ROAS, conversion and customer acquisition economics.
Strong knowledge of CRO, landing pages, funnels and offer optimisation.
Experience with retention, email/SMS and customer lifetime value strategies.
Commercial and highly analytical mindset.
Experience managing internal teams, agencies and specialist operators.
Comfortable moving between high-level strategy and detailed execution.
Strong leadership, communication and accountability.
Available to work from our Botany office for part of each week.
Highly Regarded
Experience scaling an eCommerce business to significant weekly customer volumes.
Experience in food, meal delivery, subscription or recurring-purchase businesses.
Experience with Klaviyo and Shopify.
Demonstrated success improving both CAC and CLTV.
Experience building and managing high-performance marketing teams.
Strong understanding of attribution and performance reporting.

About You

This is a full time position with regular in-office attendance in Botany required.
