Montessori International College (MIC) offers a unique Children's House and OSHC service, unlike anything else. Set in 22 beautiful hectares of natural bushland in Forest Glen, our Children's House and OSHC team is looking for a dedicated professional educator to join our learning community.
n
In this role, you will work collaboratively as a team member within the Children's House (MIC ECEC) and MIC - OSHC services, sharing the implementation of a Montessori curriculum, and supporting students' learning, well-being, and physical and emotional care. The role can vary day-to-day to reflect the diverse needs of the learners you are supporting.

Diploma qualification (Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent), current Working With Children Blue Card (Queensland).

Excellent interpersonal skills with children and adults.
n




Knowledge of,interest in, and experience with, working with children.
n
Experience working with and supporting children in early years and OSHC settings.
n
Capacity to work with multi-age and multi-ability groups.
n
Experience or active interest in developing an understanding of the Montessori philosophy and pedagogy.
n
Ability to use initiative, proactively seek solutions and accept guidance and feedback.
n
Ability to find ways how to best meet the individual needs of children.
n
Efficient time management and personal organisational skills.
