About the Role:
n
We are currently seeking qualified Diesel Fittersto join our team working in the Bowen Basin. To set you up for success, you will start in our Nebo workshop on a 7/7 roster to transition to a dedicated site.
n
You'll play a vital part in maintaining and repairing our fleet, ensuring machinery runs at optimal performance.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Conducting regular maintenance on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems of heavy equipment
n
Diagnosing faults and troubleshooting mechanical issues in a timely manner
n
Repairing and replacing faulty parts as necessary
n
Performing scheduled servicing of equipment to prevent unexpected downtime
n
Adhering to safety protocols and ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with industry regulations
n
n
The successful candidate will have the following:
n
n
Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
n




Experience working on CAT equipment and familiarity with CAT diagnostic systems (highly desirable)
n
RII Certified: EWP, Working at Heights, and Light Vehicle/Equipment Testing & Operations (highly desirable).
n
Current & valid Driver's Licence
n
A "can do" attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment.
n
Ability to carry out performance testing and adjustments after repairs.
n
Excellent time management skills and a strong commitment to quality control.
n
Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised as required.
n
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
n
n
The successful candidate will hold or be willing to obtain a Coal Board Medical Health Assessment and Standard 11 Statement of Attainment.
n
