Based from our Newmarket office, you'll work on a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, high-rise and data centre projects, partnering closely with project delivery teams to see your designs brought to life.

The Opportunity
As a Fire Design Engineer, you will take ownership of the design and coordination of fire protection systems across a range of projects throughout Queensland.
You will work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and clients to deliver compliant, practical and cost-effective fire protection solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design wet fire, dry or both fire systems
Prepare design drawings and technical documentation




Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and NCC requirementsCoordinate with project delivery and construction teams
Support design reviews, approvals and technical submissions
Assist with project delivery from concept through to completion
Maintain high levels of technical accuracy and quality assurance
Skills & Experience
We're interested in speaking with candidates who possess:
Experience in Fire Protection Design or Fire Services Design
Knowledge of wet fire and dry fire systems
AutoCAD design experience
Revit Experience
Understanding of Australian fire protection standards
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Essential Requirement
Hold a current QBCC Licence,
or
Be willing and eligible to obtain a QBCC Licence with company support and sponsorship.
This is a mandatory requirement for the role.
