With the right attitude, reliability and willingness to learn, you can develop your skills from fibre hauling and civil telecommunications work through to leading a small crew, troubleshooting network issues, testing fibre optics and progressing towards becoming an experienced
Telecommunications Technician

What You'll Be Doing
Your day-to-day work may include:
Rod and roping telecommunications conduits
Cleaning and preparing conduits and telecommunications pits
Hauling optical fibre and telecommunications cables
Assisting with site setups and pack-downs
Manual handling and use of telecommunications equipment
Identifying and solving problems in the field
Use of a Vacuum Excavation Truck during Rod & Rope Duties
Following workplace health and safety procedures
Working alongside experienced telecommunications technicians and crew leaders
Working away from home on some occasions as required by project locations and workloads

Experience is welcome, but attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are more important to us.
What We Offer
Immediate start
Approximately 40 hours per week

Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
Current Driver's Licence
Construction White Card
Ability to obtain or provide a National Police Check
Flexibility to work away from home on some occasions when required
Highly Regarded, But Not Essential
MR Driver's Licence
HR Driver's Licence
Previous construction, civil, labouring or telecommunications experience
