Prime Steel Engineering is looking for a
Bandsaw Operator
to join our growing structural steel and staircase fabrication team in Penrith.
Experience is preferred, but we are also interested in someone who is
highly motivated, reliable, keen to learn, and looking for a long-term career in steel fabrication
.
Your Responsibilities
Operate bandsaw machinery to cut steel to required sizes.
Read basic workshop drawings and cutting lists.
Measure and mark steel accurately.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Work with the fabrication team to meet production deadlines.
What We're Looking For
Bandsaw or steel fabrication experience preferred.
Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools.




Solid attention to detail.
Reliable with a good work ethic.
Physically fit and safety-focused.
Willingness to learn, develop new skills, and grow with the company.
