The Role(s)
n
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to undertake bushland
regeneration/environmental
works. You may be required to start on site. Therefore, a driver's licence is essential. The role requires 4 days per week minimum, Monday to Friday (5 days preferred), which you can work on a Casual or Full-Time contract basis (negotiated).

Your Skills and Experience
n
n
Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety responsibilities.
n




Ability to undertake environmental tasks ranging from herbicide application using knapsacks and other equipment, hand weeding, woody weed removal, revegetation works and brushcutting.
n
Ability to communicate with internal stakeholders (i.e., management and employees) and external stakeholders (i.e., clients, public).
n
Demonstrated commitment to working in a team environment by working effectively with colleagues.
n
Knowledge of native / Indigenous and weed species around the local area.
n
Demonstrated experience in Conservation / Land Management, or similar field, preferred but not essential.
n

Certificates / Licenses
n
n
Current Victorian Drivers Licence (Manual preferred).
n
*OHS Construction Induction Card (Red Card, White Card) (Required).
n
Chemcert, ACUP or equivalent.
n
n
*You may be considered without these licenses. However, must be willing to obtain them at the start of your employment.
n
Tertiary study in Conservation, Environmental Science or similar preferred but not required.
n

This position does require that the applicant has their own vehicle as you will be required to drive directly to sites at times.
n
Please note that this job is physically demanding and there is a requirement to work in all weather conditions, depending on the tasks required.
