Troocoo is proud to be partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced Payroll Team Lead. Based in South Brisbane, this opportunity will see you lead a hands on payroll team within a large and complex operational setting undergoing significant transformation.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead and develop the payroll team, providing clear direction, regular feedback and ongoing support
n
Oversee the accurate and timely delivery of wages and salaried payrolls across multiple entities
n
Review and approve payroll outputs, banking files and related payments
n
Provide technical guidance across enterprise agreements, awards, payroll legislation and time and attendance
n
Partner with HR, finance, operational sites and external providers to resolve payroll issues
n
Identify and implement opportunities to streamline processes,



improve accuracy and reduce manual work
n
Support payroll system changes, testing and broader transformation initiatives
n
Monitor payroll queries, outstanding work and service levels to ensure timely resolutionBuild effective relationships across the business and encourage accountability within the team
n

About You
n
n
At least five years of end to end payroll experience within a complex organisation
n
Previous experience leading and developing a payroll team
n
Experience across both wages and salaried payrolls
n
Sound knowledge of enterprise agreements, awards and Australian payroll legislation
n
Hands on leadership style with a proactive approach to process improvement
n
Experience with Preceda or Dayforce would be highly regarded
n
n
The successful candidate will be required to complete pre employment checks, including a police check and medical assessment.
