Park Ridge Based | North Queensland Linehaul

There is something different about heading north with a full set behind you and a few thousand kilometres of Queensland ahead.

We are looking for an experienced MC Linehaul Driver to join our Brisbane team, based from our Park Ridge depot.
n
Your work will take you north, with Townsville and Cairns forming a large part of the running, although this is not a fixed destination role. Our network moves, our freight changes, and we need a driver who is comfortable going where the work takes them.
n

MC Linehaul Driver | Brisbane

What you will be doing
n
n
Running MC combinations from Brisbane across our Queensland network
n
Regular linehaul work into Townsville and Cairns
n
Completing other runs across the network when required
n
Carrying general freight across a wide mix of customers and industries
n
Completing vehicle and load checks before departure
n
Using an Electronic Work Diary
n
Managing fatigue and work hours professionally
n
Keeping in contact with linehaul control and our depot network throughout your runs
n
Completing freight documentation and ensuring paperwork is accurate
n
Taking care of the truck, trailers, freight, and equipment entrusted to you
n
Most importantly, getting the freight where it needs to go safely and professionally.

We are looking for experience
n
n
You will need a current MC licence and solid experience operating heavy combinations.
n




General freight and North Queensland linehaul experience will be highly regarded.
n
You should also have a solid understanding of fatigue management, load restraint, compliance, and the realities of long distance transport.
n
We want a driver who can work independently, communicate properly when something changes, and make sensible decisions out on the road.
