Your Development Are you an experienced Registered Scrub Scout Nurse who is passionate about playing a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care are provided? We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Scrub Scout to join our Perioperative Team on a full time basis. As a Perioperative Registered Nurse - Scrub Scout your responsibilities will include:

Undertake peri-operative nursing care in accordance with legislation
n
Deliver evidence-based nursing care
n
Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
n
Ensure patient and staff safety
n
Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and AINs to deliver patient care (RN only)
n
Proactively assess the operative nursing care provided to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved for the individual / patient
n
Document into the patient's medical record objectively, clearly,



concisely and timely using accepted abbreviations and terminology
n
n

Current Registration with AHPRA
n
18 months minimum experience as an RN - Scrub Scout
n
Working with Children check (if relevant)
n
Commitment to Quality Patient Care
n
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
n
Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
Works well independently and within a team
n
Basic computer skills Apply
