Youth Worker
to our
Nambour Individual Support Services team!
In this role, you'll be a trusted support person for children and young people navigating complex challenges; building genuine connections, boosting confidence, and helping them stay engaged with school, community, and life. Working with our Nambour team, you'll deliver hands‐on, practical support and short‐term interventions that create meaningful, lasting impact for young people and their families.
Level 3 SCHCADS Award.
Salary range: $***** - $***** per hour + Superannuation.
Casual contract opportunity.

Build strong, trusting relationships and deliver impactful, time‐limited support to children and youth facing high‐risk, complex life situations.

Help young people engage with school, community, and healthy social networks; supporting confidence, wellbeing, and positive life skills.

Work alongside passionate professionals, families, and partner agencies to achieve meaningful goals and wrap‐around support.
Get hands‐on and make it happen:
Provide practical support including transport, community access, and out‐of‐hours care; meeting young people where they are, when they need it most.

About You
Certificate IV in a relevant discipline (youth work, community services) or studying toward a relevant tertiary qualification.
At least two (2)



years' experience providing intensive youth work support to young people in a child protection context or who have experienced trauma and disruptions in attachment.
Eligibility to work in Australia (proof of eligibility required), including holding or obtaining required checks (Working with Children Check or qualified exemption).
