As an
Early Childhood Teacher
at the Snugglepot Day Care Centre Inc' in Taree, NSW, you will be responsible for providing high-quality early childhood education and care to children aged 0-5 years. This full-time or part time position is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children and contribute to the growth and development of the centre.
What you'll be doing
Planning and implementing engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework
Fostering a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating environment that supports children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development
Observing and documenting children's progress, and using this information to individualise learning experiences
Building strong relationships with children and their families, and working collaboratively with the broader team
Ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of all children in your care
Adhering to all relevant legislation, regulations and centre policies and procedures
Ensuring you understand and meet the child safety responsibilities, uphold child safe behaviours and recognise when child safe behaviours are not being upheld.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or Diploma Qualified educator working towards a Bachelor.
Minimum 2 years' experience working as an Early Childhood Teacher in a long day care,



preschool or kindergarten setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
Strong planning, organisational and time management skills
Demonstrated passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing the best possible outcomes for children
Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certifications
Working with Children Check
