About the Role - URGENT

We are currently seeking a compassionate, experienced, and reliable female Disability Support Worker to support a participant with complex physical, neurological, and mental health needs .
n
This position involves providing high levels of individualised support in a person-centred environment. It requires solid manual-handling skills and a trauma-informed approach. The successful candidate will demonstrate a genuine commitment to empowering participants while safeguarding their safety, dignity, and overall quality of life. Applicants whose first language is English are preferred.

Location : Annerley , Lawnton, Heathwood, Redland bay

Key Responsibilities

Support personal care with warmth, patience and total respect for dignity.
n
Open up the community - outings, appointments, activities and everyday adventures.
n




Offer real companionship and steady emotional support.
n
Keep clear, accurate records and flag any concerns early to the team.

Requirements
n
n
Native English speakers preferred (as per participant preference)
n
Female candidates only - 20 to 30 years old(participant's personal preference)
n
Knowledge and implementation of Behaviour Support Plans and restrictive practices
n
High-level empathy, patience, and compassion
n
Ability to remain calm and responsive during escalations and behavioural concerns.
n
First Aid and CPR (Restrictive practice training is a plus)
n
Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
Driver's license and reliable transport - must own a suitable vehicle.
