Accountant (General) – Full-Time We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant (General) to join our growing professional services organisation. Employment Type: Full time Hours: 38 hours per week Salary: $85,000 per annum + superannuation Location: Sydney, NSW

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Prepare and analyse financial statements, management accounts and financial reports.
n
Prepare budgets, forecasts and cash-flow reports.
n
Maintain and review accounting records and general ledger accounts.
n
Prepare and review BAS, GST and other taxation-related information.
n
Assist with preparation of income tax returns and statutory reporting requirements.
n
Analyse business operating costs, income and expenditure.
n
Provide financial and accounting advice to management.
n
Monitor internal accounting procedures and financial controls.
n




Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
n
Liaise with management, clients and external professionals regarding accounting and financial matters.
n
Ensure financial records comply with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
n
Assist management with financial planning and business performance analysis.

Qualifications & Experience
n
n
Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Accounting, Finance or a closely related discipline.
n
Relevant professional accounting experience.
n
Strong knowledge of Australian accounting principles and financial reporting.
n
Experience using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
n
Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
