The Role
n
Lead a mobile maintenance crew on the ground, keeping the shift safe, productive and running to plan.
n
n
Lead and support underground mechanical crew across development & production activities.
n
Allocate daily tasks, run pre-starts and toolbox talks, and keep work safe, effective and on plan.
n
Work on a range of Sandvik, CAT and Normet drills, loaders and ancillary equipment across a solid fleet
n
Monitor production, ground conditions and equipment performance; liaise closely with supervisors and mine planners.
n
Mentor tradespeople and maintain a strong safety-first culture.

Your Background
n
We're after an experienced underground leader who can run a safe maintenance crew from day one.
n
n
Previous experience as a maintenance leading hand / supervisor in an underground hard rock
n
Competent working on underground gear.
n
Strong safety leadership and communication skills.
n
Able to pass a full pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol test and national police check.
n
Current manual driver's licence.
n
