Experienced medical receptioinst required for a Part Time position in GP owned practice located in Allambie Heights.

Shifts would include Tuesdays 7am-2.30pm and Fridays 12pm-7.30pm.
Duties include
Answering telephone calls and enquiries.
Meeting and greeting patients.
Scheduling and managing appointments.
Creating and maintaining patient records.
Invoicing and receipting patients.
Providing support to doctors and nurses as required.
Liaising with specialists, hospitals and other health professionals.
Skills and experience
Minimum 6-12 months experience in a general practice setting is required.
Sound knowledge of Medicare billing and the Health System.
Knowledge of medical software (preferably Best Practice).
Strong communication skills and ability to relate to patients and other staff members.
Friendly, enthusiastic with an ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to multitask
Committed to providing a high standard of patient care.
