Loyola College is seeking a passionate and qualified teacher to join our agile team as a Mathematics Teacher. This Fixed Term / Full-Time role is based in Watsonia, Victoria and will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality mathematics education to our students.

What you'll be doing:
n

Designing and delivering engaging Mathematics lessons for secondary school students
n
Creating and implementing innovative teaching strategies to support student learning and achievement
n
Assessing student progress and providing timely feedback to ensure continuous improvement
n
Collaborating with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum materials
n
Contributing to the broader life of the school community through extracurricular activities
n
n
What we're looking for:
n
n
Relevant teaching qualifications and registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
n
Experience at the secondary education level, ideally senior classes in mathematics.
n
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
n




Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues
n
A passion for mathematics and a commitment to student-centred learning
