About the role
Reporting to the General Manager Corporate Affairs, the Head of Communications & Engagement provides strategic leadership across communications, brand, media, content and community engagement. Leading a team of specialists, you will lead the organisation's communications, build relationships with key stakeholders, help amplify the experiences of people affected by blood cancer and increase awareness of our health services, advocacy and research.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead the organisation's communications and engagement strategy
Increase awareness of blood cancer and the Leukaemia Foundation's work
Build relationships with stakeholders, including partners and communities
Lead campaigns, content, media and advocacy activities
Advise leaders on communications and reputational issues
Use data and feedback to improve communication outcomes
Lead and develop the team

What You'll Bring
Senior leadership experience in communications or corporate affairs
Experience developing and delivering communication strategies
Experience managing brand, reputation and stakeholder relationships
Strong communication, influencing and relationship building skills
Sound judgement and experience leading through complexity and change
Ability to use data and insights to evaluate and improve results.
