We
provideprofessional
trade services to energy, marine, mining and defence clientele covering all Building, Plumbing, Roofing, Electrical & HVAC service types.

We service Cairns, Innisfail and the Atherton Tablelands, including all surrounding suburbs and communities.
n
We employ 30 staff, including Carpenters, Electricians, Refrigeration Mechanics, Plumbers, Roof Plumbers and Administrative professionals.
n
Our business premises is located in Portsmith, Cairns, QLD.

Position advertised:
n
We are looking for a permanent full time Electrician Tradespersonwho is interested injoining our Cairns based team.
n
The applicant should consider themselves an organised and reliable individual.
n
Qualifications:
n
You must hold a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electricianto be a suitable applicant.
n
You must hold a General Construction Induction (White Card) to be a suitable applicant.
n
You must hold a National Police Check (dated within 6-months) or be willing to obtain one.
n
Experience:
n
We are looking for a candidate that has a minimum of18-months experiencepost apprenticeship.
n
7:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Thursday.
n
7:30am to 2:00pm Friday.
n
Overtime (if applicable):
n
Overtime worked as continuation of standard work hours is accrued as Time-Off-In-Lieu (TOIL).
n
Overtime worked as non-continuation of standard work hours,



including weekends or public holidays, are paid at the relevant penalty rates.
n
6-monthly performance & wage reviews.
n
No on-call.
n
Vehicle to take home with fuel card.
n
Phone allowance of $88 per month.
n
Full set of work uniforms (x5) and work boots (x1).
n
No physical paperwork & no manual timesheet entries, just one phone app to use each work day.
n
Pay runs are weekly on a Thursday.

Tasks & responsibilities:
n
Below are a list of the tasks & responsibilities associated with the advertised position, this list forms the basis of our overall expectations.
n
Liaise with clients using necessary forms of communication including in-person, phone, email, or text as required to fulfil the needs of the client.
n
Carry out the installation, repair & maintenance of electrical infrastructure, fixtures & fittings.
n
Provide knowledge, guidance, training & support to apprentices.
n
Competently complete the entry of data into the company's job management software via mobile phone app for each assigned job, quote, activity, or task.
n
Always maintain a clean appearance whilst at work, including a well pressed work uniform with a tucked-in shirt, belt & buttoned sleeves.
n
Demonstrate safe work habits & proper care of company vehicles, tools & equipment.
