Orange Square Medical is seeking an experienced and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our friendly, busy general practice team.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Providing high-quality nursing care in a general practice workplace
n
Immunisations and maintaining accurate Australian Immunisation Register records
n
Wound care, dressings and removal of sutures
n
Health assessments and chronic disease management
n
ECGs, spirometry and other clinical procedures
n
Assisting doctors with minor procedures
n
Cold-chain monitoring, infection control and stock management
n
Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records
n
Supporting accreditation and continuous quality improvement activities
n
Providing patient education and follow-up care
n
n
About you
n
n
Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
n




Previous general practice or primary healthcare experience is preferred
n
Current CPR certification
n
Immunisation certification or willingness to obtain it
n
Strong communication, organisational and time-management skills
n
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
n
Sound computer skills; experience with Best Practice software is desirable
n
