Job Description
Our client, a Government Department, is looking for an Information Architect for a Contract through to 30 June ****, with 3 x up to 12-month extension options. This role will support a major Change Program by designing, structuring and governing information assets aligned with business needs and strategic objectives.

In this role you will perform the following tasks but not limited to:

Design, document and maintain enterprise information architecture frameworks and artefacts.
n
Develop information models, metadata structures, taxonomies and classification schemes.
n
Conduct information discovery workshops and assess current-state information environments.
n
Define information governance standards, requirements and recommendations across business systems.
n
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to support implementation, adoption and knowledge transfer.
n

To be successful, you must have the following skills / experiences:
n
n




Proven experience designing and governing enterprise information architectures.
n
Robust expertise in information modelling, metadata frameworks, taxonomies and classification structures.
n
Demonstrated experience developing information governance frameworks and information management standards.
n
Excellent stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and communication skills across business and technical teams.
n
Sound understanding of privacy, security, records management and regulatory requirements within complex environments.
n
Baseline clearance.
n
n
You must be an Australian Citizen to be eligible to apply. This is a Canberra-based role, with an office presence expected 2 days per week. You must be able to obtain a Baseline security clearance. Aaboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates are encouraged to apply.
