We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Supervisor to lead, coach and support a team of residential emergency and maintenance plumbers across Sydney.
n
This is a field-focused leadership position—not a full-time tools role. You will work closely with technicians and operations to improve performance, maintain workmanship standards, ensure compliance and deliver outstanding customer outcomes.

A current NSW Plumbing Contractor Licence

Extensive experience in residential emergency and maintenance plumbing

The Role
n
As Plumbing Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
n
n
Leading, coaching and developing a team of residential plumbers
n
Providing technical direction on emergency, complex and escalated plumbing jobs
n
Conducting regular field visits, ride-alongs and workmanship inspections
n
Monitoring technician performance,



productivity, workmanship and customer satisfaction
n
Coaching technicians on diagnosis, quoting, customer communication and job performance
n
Ensuring all work complies with NSW plumbing regulations, Australian Standards and company procedures
n
Improving quality assurance while reducing defects, complaints and call-backs
n
Managing escalated customer concerns and delivering practical resolutions
n
Monitoring team KPIs and holding technicians accountable for their performance
n
Supporting technician recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training
n
Working closely with operations and dispatch to improve scheduling and productivity
n
Ensuring job documentation, photographs and compliance requirements are completed correctly
n
Building a professional, positive and accountable team culture
n

About You
n
We are looking for a proven plumbing leader—not simply an experienced tradesperson. You understand residential emergency plumbing, make sound decisions under pressure and know how to develop technicians into confident, accountable and high-performing professionals.

You combine strong technical knowledge with commercial awareness,



clear communication and a genuine commitment to outstanding customer service.

In addition to the mandatory licence and industry experience outlined above, you will bring:

Previous experience supervising, leading or mentoring plumbers
n
Strong knowledge of NSW plumbing regulations, compliance requirements and Australian Standards
n
Advanced fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities
n
The confidence to provide clear technical direction on complex jobs
n
Experience managing technician KPIs, productivity, workmanship and customer satisfaction
n
A strong understanding of quality assurance and call-back reduction
n
Excellent leadership, communication and conflict-resolution skills
n
The confidence to hold team members accountable while maintaining a positive culture
n
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced setting
n
A current unrestricted NSW Driver Licence
n
A professional, solutions-focused attitude with a strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement
