As our Marine Technician / Service Manager, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a range of boats, outboard motors and marine systems, while also overseeing day-to-day workshop and service activities. You will work closely with our sales team and customers to ensure boats are prepared to the highest standard and that service and repair work is completed efficiently and professionally.
Key responsibilities
Carry out servicing, diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on boats and outboard motors
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and marine systems
Conduct pre-delivery inspections and boat preparation
Install and troubleshoot marine electronics, accessories and equipment
Manage workshop schedules, jobs and customer service requirements
Coordinate service and repair work with suppliers and external contractors where required
Prepare job estimates and communicate repair requirements with customers




Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
Ensure workshop safety, cleanliness and organisation
Assist with boat commissioning, detailing and delivery preparation
About you
Proven experience as a Marine Technician, Automotive Mechanic or similar
Strong knowledge of outboard motors/in board and marine systems
Valuable diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Experience with marine electrical systems and electronics
Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Strong communication and customer service skills
A professional, reliable and positive attitude
Good organizational and time-management skills
A current driver's license
