Maintenance Fitter – Smithfield

$50–$55/hr + Overtime | Day Shift | Permanent Position

As a Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for keeping the manufacturing operation running smoothly and efficiently.
n

As a Maintenance Fitter you'll carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance across automated production equipment
n
This Maintenance Fitter will carry out mechanical fault finding and repairs
n
The Maintenance Fitter will have Hydraulic & Pneumatic experience
n
The Maintenance Fitter will be servicing and maintaining plant, machinery and production equipment
n
As the Maintenance Fitter you'll be responding to breakdowns and minimising production downtime
n
This Maintenance Fitter will identify potential equipment issues before they become major problems
n
The Maintenance Fitter will support with continuous improvement and reliability initiatives




n
This Maintenance Fitter will work closely with production and maintenance teams
n
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
Trade qualifications as a Maintenance Fitter / Fitter & Turner
n
Previous experience in manufacturing environments
n
Robust mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
n
Experience working with automated machinery
n
A proactive approach to preventative maintenance
n
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
A robust commitment to workplace safety
n
